Depending on the specific glue used and its age you may be able to simply boil a pot of water and apply it to the dry glue in order to loosen it up. After this is accomplished you rinse with clean warm water. Scrape the glue before it cools. In order to make the scrubbing more effective mix one gallon of hot water with one cup of ammonia and a tablespoon of liquid detergent in a container. If there is still a significant amount of glue covering the concrete then you will want to use a large pot so you have enough water.

With the trailing edge up place your scraper in front of the patch and push it vigorously to scrape away residue.
