The paracord is a bit expensive and it is not ideal to have a lot of waste so i devised a method that leaves you with zero waste.
Restring roller blinds.
To restring your blind get a restring kit with enough string to cover at least 2 times the length of your blind plus the width of the window.
You can push this pin in with a flat head screwdriver.
Remove the blinds from the wall and pop out the clutch.
How to restring roll up blinds without wasting cord with the first blind i found it difficult to determine the length of the cord and as a result i ended up with a lot of waste.
Simple steps to restring with your new string tie one end of the string to the back left side of your blinds and bring the string down to the bottom along the back side and then back up the front of the blind.
Drill holes for the included hook hardware over the pencil marks and screw in the hooks.
First hold your lift cords level with the headrail and gently pull.
Mark with a pencil where you want to hang the shade through the triangular rings at the top.
If this does not fix the problem take your blind out of the window.
At the top you will then string through the front left pulley over to the grip on the right side pulley.
This will release the blinds allowing you to pull them off of the mount.
This should release the cord lock.
Roll up bamboo blinds are soooo easy to hang.
Locate the cord lock mechanism in the headrail the lift cords run through this.
This process will work for mini blinds and some venetian blinds.
